The Institute was formed in 1975 by a group of Rangers to increase the skill, training and professionalism of the industry.

The Institute holds a 3 day Workshop in Sydney each year and regional workshops in country regions to keep members up to date with changes to legislation and discuss specific regional issues.

For a small cost, financial members can take advantage of the benefits the Institute can offer.
